A New Social Security Information Management System Is Coming

Starting from 0:00 on October 20, Beijing will launch a new social security information management system. The current system will be discontinued at
18:00 on September 25, resulting in a temporary suspension of some social security services throughout the city.
The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security has announced that services will be
suspended from 18:00 on September 25 until 00:00 on October 20.
Details of Arrangement

Online services for endowment insurance will be suspended from 22:00 on September 21 to 0:00 on October 24, while on-site services will be unavailable from 18:00 on September 25 to 0:00 on October 20.

Services for work-related injury insurance will be suspended from 18:00 on September 25 to 0:00 on October 20.

Services for unemployment insurance will be suspended from 0:00 on September 25 to 9:00 on October 25.

Employment services will be suspended from 18:00 on October 14 to 0:00 on October 24.

Services for archives of transient personnel and related services will be suspended from 18:00 on October 14 to 0:00 on October 24.

NOTICE
During the system switchover, three services will remain unaffected: social security payments, benefit entitlements, and inquiries about rights and interests.
Social security contributions and payments collected by the tax departments in Beijing will proceed as usual. Insured employers and individuals can pay social security contributions as usual during the October collection period, and monthly social security benefits for insured individuals will not be affected. Regular benefits for endowment insurance, unemployment insurance, and work-related injury insurance in October will be temporarily paid on October 5.
The inquiry service for social security rights and interests will be accessible via current online and offline channels. Data interaction with other departments, offices and bureaus will not be affected, but data will not be updated during the switchover period.
